These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shekl platform. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. They're written to be fair and transparent — no fine print tricks.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Shekl. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. The Service
Shekl is an AI-powered financial intelligence platform that enables businesses to import, organize, categorize, analyze, and report on financial data. The Service includes data ingestion, AI classification, cash flow analysis, forecasting, team collaboration, and integrations with third-party financial services.
We continuously develop and improve the platform. Features may be added, modified, or retired over time. We will provide reasonable notice for changes that materially affect your use of the Service.
3. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you submit to the platform. Shekl is granted a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties for their own purposes. Data may be shared with trusted service providers strictly as necessary to operate the platform, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload content that is harmful, fraudulent, or infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data not authorized to you.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the platform.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without prior written authorization.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, documentation, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of Shekl Financial Technologies and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our branding, logos, or proprietary technology beyond the right to use the Service as intended.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms for financial data, payments, and authentication. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and policies. Shekl is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party providers.
7. Pricing & Payment
Certain features may require a paid subscription. All pricing is communicated at the time of purchase and is non-refundable unless otherwise specified. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any pricing changes take effect.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
Insights, forecasts, and classifications generated by the platform are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional financial, legal, or tax advice. Think of our AI as a co-pilot, not autopilot — always apply your own judgment.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shekl and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shekl and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with clear communication regarding the reason. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow retrieval, after which it will be permanently deleted.
12. Modifications
We may revise these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service following such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Shekl Financial Technologies is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
